I’m a multidisciplinary artist of Haitian descent, blending poetry and visual art. I love working large scale and creating collages that weave in text, from blackout poems to my own writing. I share my studio with my husband, photographer Robert Cooper, often painting over his prints to make mixed media pieces. My work explores healing and culture; currently, I’m creating self-portraits that reflect grief, healing, and ongoing conversations with ancestors.
